Michael Bain is in big trouble. Owing the local hard man a significant wedge, he's stacked all his hopes on his greyhound Grace coming up trumps at the local track. Trouble is Grace never wins and the surprise discovery she's short sighted means the four legged money pit never will. Michael needs to ditch the dog to repay the debt but with his young daughter, Becky, head over heels in love with her, this is easier said than done.
